For Alyssa Craggs, investment management is personal. Inspired by her single mother’s hard work and disciplined approach to financial security, Alyssa brings the same guidance and accountability to her clients, helping them make confident, informed decisions. At Compass Capital Management, she focuses on investment management while integrating comprehensive financial planning, including tax, estate, and retirement strategies. Collaborating with CPAs, estate planners, and insurance professionals, Alyssa ensures every piece of a client’s financial picture works seamlessly, providing clarity, confidence, and a trusted partner in their corner.
Before joining Compass, Alyssa worked as an Accountant at Residential Science Resources/Simple Energy Testing from 2015 to 2018 and volunteered as a Tax Preparer with Prepare + Prosper from 2013 to 2015. She holds an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Accounting from Minneapolis Community and Technical College and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Finance from Metropolitan State University. Alyssa is currently pursuing the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation to further strengthen the guidance she provides her clients.
Outside of her professional life, Alyssa is a devoted wife and mom who loves spending time with her family, including her two dogs, Ari and Wilbur. She enjoys exploring through cooking, concerts, outdoor activities, and travel, always seeking new ways to connect and create. She also has a deep appreciation for different cultures, which inspires both her work and personal pursuits.
